Product Summary
Before you sign up for a UBL UK Safe Deposit Box, there are a few points you need to consider:
- To access your Safe Deposit Box, you must bring your Photo ID every time you visit the Bank
- 24-hour notice must be provided before accessing your Safe Deposit Box
- Payment for your Safe Deposit Box must be made annually in advance
- If we have not received a payment related to your Safe Deposit Box, we may refuse to provide you access
- There is a late payment charge of £15 per month
- You must only store items in your Safe Deposit Box which you are legally entitled to possess and store
- You must not use your Safe Deposit Box in any way which is illegal, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful
- You must not deposit items in your Safe Deposit Box which are illegal in nature or proceeds of crime, as well as offensive chemicals, drugs, any living materials, plants, perishable items, guns, knives, firearms or ammunition
- Insurance of the items in your Safe Deposit Box with UBL UK is your responsibility
- All Joint Safe Deposit Box holders will have similar rights and obligations
